Lucky Find Tours Donegal is now in it's third year and we are excited to announce a great selection of new tours for the coming 2020 season. Given the huge success of our West Donegal tour we have now added three more awesome tours to our list. Giving you access to all that Donegal has to offer.
New Tours Include:
East Donegal Tour: Starting in the village of Dunfanaghy this tour takes you on a sightseeing extravaganza of Donegal's Wild Atlantic Coastline as well as a taste of the Derryveagh mountains. Take in the epic views of Horn head before travelling east past Doe castle on to the town of Downings and to the iconic Fanad Head Lighthouse. From here we will head inland past the sealoughs of Broad Water before navigating the peaty bogs of the Derryveagh and the unique mountain of Errigal. This is an 8 hour tour not to be missed for those looking to explore Donegal's less travelled eastern side.
Central Donegal Tour: Starting in the Gealtach area of Gweedore this tour takes you on an epic adventure through Donegal's mountains, lakes and heartlands. Driving from Gweedore we will head east along Knoc na folah to the Bloody Forland. Then we will take the valley pass from Falcarragh through the majestic Muckish mountain range to Glenveagh National Park. Here we will walk the ancient garden trails around Glenveagh castle. From Glenveagh we will take the route less traveled up deep into the Derryveagh mountains. With it's wild mountain sheep, spectacular Vally views and staggering mountain ranges this is a true hidden gem of Donegal not to be missed.
North Donegal Tour: This tour begins in Donegal's largest town of Lettereknny. From here we will explore the majestic peninsula of Inishowen. Travel to Ireland's most northerly point, Malin Head and embrace the true rugged coastline of Donegal's Wild Atlantic Way. View the neighbouring peninsula's from the lookout of Dunree Head before driving the coastal headlands of this stunning peninsula on to Malin Head. The tour then meanders the North East of the peninsula to Greencastle before heading south along the stunning castle road heading to Muff. This 8 hour tour is perfect for those looking to experience the power of Donegal's wild Atlantic as well as take in the iconic rugged coastline of this outstanding peninsula.
